News n Views and TJORM

The Publications Department is one of the compulsory Year 12 Prefects’ initiatives, completed as part of their service to The College for the year.  When elected as  Chairpersons of Publications, the Prefects  need to produce two Publications namely, News n Views and TJORM – (The Journey of Radical Minds).

News n Views – Reporting on the main events that are happening at The College  on a term basis, except for Term 4 the previous year and the following Term 1, when this bumper issue will be published in Term 2. Articles are written mainly by the organising teachers and by the Year 12 students in charge of the particular events.
TJORM – The Journey of the Radical Minds cater for students themselves. It was found a few years ago that there was a need to publish a voice to represent  the students’ body themselves. Articles are submitted by students whose creativity found their expressions in the written word which they would like to share with their fellow students. Interviews and profiles of certain students and teachers would make up the main content of this publication.
